The Swiss holiday carrier Edelweiss now flies to two new destinations: Italy and Portugal. New Summer Edelweiss Destinations
This summer, Edelweiss is offering flights to two new holiday destinations. Italy and Portugal fans will be delighted. From June 3, 2022, Swiss Holiday Airlines will fly directly from Zurich to Pisa in Italy on Tuesdays and Fridays. Therefore, Edelweiss also serves Ponta Delgada on the Azores from Zurich. Flights begin on Monday, July 11.
Pisa has the most famous Italian monument in the world and a great range of museums and cultural activities. There are also beautiful beaches and towns along the nearby coastline like Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta and Viareggio or the Cinque Terre on the Ligurian coast.
The new Edelweiss destination on the Azores, Ponta Delgada, appeals to outdoor enthusiasts. An archipelago with nine islands situated in the middle of the Atlantic impresses with volcanoes, hot springs, lush landscapes, and steep coastlines. All Azores islands have lovely hiking trails, fascinating fauna and flora, golden and black sand beaches and good diving, sailing and surfing conditions.
So, by adding the new destinations, Edelweiss is offering 59 short- and medium-haul destinations this summer, in addition to 19 long-haul destinations. N
