Festichoc – The largest chocolate festival in Switzerland This year’s festival, Festichoc, will take place in Versoix on the 2nd and 3rd of April. It is one of Switzerland’s largest chocolate festivals with tastings, sales, exhibitions, and many other activities.
On the first day of Spring, we decided to tell you about one of the sweetest events happening this year!
Chocolate everywhere
More than 25 artisan chocolatiers from throughout Switzerland participate in this family-friendly event. Additionally, there will be tastings, sales, exhibitions of chocolate sculptures, food stands, and events during the festival. This event aims to introduce people to quality chocolate and its many uses. Furthermore, visitors can sample some of the finest chocolate creations from Swiss artisans.
With something for everyone, the chocolate festival appeals to young and old alike. Besides the workshop where visitors can make chocolate bunnies, there are exhibitions of chocolate sculptures. In addition, you can attend cooking classes with pastry chef Anita Lalubie and ride the train that takes visitors to the Favarger factory, where you can discover how the famous Versailles chocolate making.
