The biggest festival in Switzerland, Züri Fäscht, will return to Zurich’s streets from July 7 to the evening of July 9, 2023, following a customary three-year hiatus. The majority of Zurich’s bustling old town and the lake’s shores will be transformed into a large fairground during these days.
Around the city, there will be 150 food booths, 70 fairground rides, 300 stores, and 50 music stages; most of the city centre will be off-limits to vehicles for the length of the event. Züri Fäscht is a must-see if you want to witness Switzerland’s largest city at its most merry, but act fast because it won’t happen again until 2026!
Zurich transforms into a lively hub of activities, entertainment, and culinary delights during the festival. The festival grounds stretch along the banks of the Limmat River and encompass various locations, including the historic old town, lakeside promenades, and the surrounding areas.
