BIT in Milan had to adapt to the current situation and has postponed the event from February 13th to April 10th, 2022. A press release was issued on January 3rd announcing this change.
Tour operators see BIT as a unique and privileged chance to do business and meet each other, and they have asked for more time so that the sector can rebalance and recognize the trends shaping the months to come, the message reads.
Hopefully, this will give exhibitors more time to prepare and guarantee that the fair will take place on the new date. The fair will take place at the Fiera Milano City as usual. BIT Milan moved for April 2022
There have already been several cancellations of tourism fairs in 2022. Holidays in Bern and FESPO, Zyruch will not occur in January 2022 with the plan to happen in 2023. The same happened to ITB Berlin. Also, the fair with in-person participation will not take place, but online fair participation is happening in March 2022. BIT Milan moved for April 2022
For the moment, the only European fair not affected by the situation is Fitur, planned to take place between January 19th and 23rd.
