Europe’s safest travel destination is Switzerland
The number of homicides, muggings and traffic deaths in Switzerland is meagre. Therefore, it is the safest travel destination in Europe, ahead of Iceland (2nd) and Norway (3rd). Therefore, Europe’s safest travel destination is Switzerland.
Swiss travellers are the safest in Europe, according to a new study. Nine criteria were analyzed, including the number of homicides, assaults, traffic deaths, natural disasters, and the global peace index. A safety index was calculated by weighing all factors equally and adding them up. Lower scores indicate a safer country.
1. Switzerland
Europe’s safest country is Switzerland. According to the study, travellers in this country feel very safe due to the low number of homicides, muggings and road fatalities. In addition, Switzerland has the lowest risk of natural disasters and the lowest perception of corruption in Europe.

2. Iceland
Not only is Iceland beautiful, but it is also safe. In addition to having one of the lowest robbery rates (14.6) and homicide rates (0.89 per 100,000 people), it is also one of the most peaceful countries.
