Montreux
Montreux, situated on the shores of Lake Geneva, is a tranquil and picturesque town. This town is often referred to as the Swiss Riviera because it is so beautiful. As a result, many famous artists, writers, and travellers have visited this charming lakeside town.
As well as stunning historic architecture, Montreux offers many cultural attractions and events. The Montreux Jazz Festival is one example of this.
But during December and the Advent period, you must visit the fairest Christmas Market in Switzerland.

With more than 170 richly decorated chalets overflowing with gifts, Switzerland’s most beautiful Christmas market offers a fairytale ambience. Mulled wine is a great way to warm up along Montreux’s Grand Rue.

Morcote
This former fishing village is situated on the picturesque Lake Lugano and has a beautiful waterfront area. Several noble homes and lakeside houses with charming arcades can be found in Morcote, the church of Santa Maria del Sasso and the terraced cemetery.
Explore the shops, restaurants, and cafes along the winding cobblestone lanes. As the most beautiful village in Switzerland, Morcote is a photographer’s dream – and that’s no small feat, considering how many beautiful villages there are!

Saint-Ursanne
The Jura Mountains surround Saint-Ursanne, a small medieval town on the banks of the River Doubs. A peaceful and tranquil place with only a few hundred residents, it is home to a few hundred people.
There are a lot of beautiful bridges and narrow winding streets in Saint-Ursanne. In addition to medieval architecture, a 12th-century Romanesque-Gothic church can be found in the town.
Several stunning hikes are available in the surrounding wilderness outside the village.

Sion
A sunny Swiss town with a 7,000-year history, Sion is home to castles, ruins, and a wealth of culture. The city also offers a variety of museums and culinary delights.
Old Town has a fairytale charm due to its numerous historical monuments. Some of the most notable monuments include the Tourbillon Castle and the Valeria Castle.
Sion is a good base for summer and winter holidays located in the Valais region. You can visit terraced vineyards nearby, which are worth exploring. With its historic charm and modern touches, Sion offers a unique experience.
Until December 23rd, we suggest you visit the Sion Christmas Maret. Around 60 of the 85 stands are artisans’ tents from all over Switzerland. Visitors can dive into Christmas during 11 days of festive activities.
